With Isabella at School for her first day and Sophia down for a sleep I was initially unsure what to do with myself. It didn’t take me long to figure it out and I finished these canvases in no time! I now have a lovely collection of 3 hanging in our lounge. Our walls are very bare so this makes a nice change!

I have now finished the other layout that I promised to show you, using the sweet as sweet Spring Fling Taste of Pesto Kit. Love the crochet flowers. Ann you will be so proud of me – I have put beads on this one. That’s two out of three with a touch of Ann. I haven’t forgotten the tag Leila (and everyone else who is joining us), just thought I would show you this first. Also soon to come, well kinda soon … is my scrap room makeover. On a tight budget… did I just say tight, I meant Very Tight Budget. ‘Cos I want to go to the Crafting Connection in Wellington. Who else is coming?

Kelly Slattery, from our design team, picked up an October Deluxe kit at Scrap Pink, and has kindly shared the following layout with us:
The pink spotted paper through the middle is from the June Free Spirit collection (Fancy Pants Kewl Splendid), and the other papers are from the “On the Periphery” October kit.
Kelly credits Ali Russel for the sketch, but I love how she’s made all the different elements and paper combinations work together. Perfectly balanced and beautiful.

Hannah sent through her design team work this afternoon and I was totally blown away. Some of the papers in this kit are quite challenging but Hannah has taken them on with confidence and thoroughly conquered Basic Grey! She should be on their payroll!

Hi all,
Here are two layouts that I have made using the sweet Spring Fling Taste of Pesto Kit. I have one more just about finished.
I was so close to finishing it, but ran out of time today, what with needing to take the girls for a ride, the boys to the skate park, food shopping, see my niece’s production, visit a friend, pack to go away, clean house for the house sitter, take the dogs for a walk (very quick one), feed the tribe, and go to my DH’s gig. I am sure most of you can relate to days like this. It’s 11.00pm and I’m still needing to pack more things to take away. That’s life.
The little bit of beading is for you Ann.
