One of our subscribers Sue Smith sent in this neat layout of all the boys lined up with their sunnies on. They look very cool!

Thanks Sue for showing us your work.

I was visiting Beverley’s blog today and saw two gorgeous layouts she had created with our ‘Be Loved’ Kit. She kindly gave me permission to post them up here. Aren’t they just lovely?

Hi There,I’ve been playing around with the February kit. I too have loved using the products from this collection, they seem to go with anything. I might try doing a layout of Daniel, and see if what I’ve just said is true. Always good to challenge yourself.
I used the Bazzill heart card stock as a template to punch the holes for my stitched hearts.

The poem is printed onto transparency, then stapled onto the Loveland Jade Drive paper.

Hi everyoneAnn managed to hide away in her scraproom on Waitangi Day morning and put together the following layout. The “Be Loved papers” suit this moment (and Caitlyn’s t-shirt) perfectly – congratulations Caitlyn, your earrings look fabulous.

I had a play with all the Carolees Creations’ papers and the Scenic Route “Chickadee street” paper in this layout, featuring me and my darling. I let the Making Memories’ wordfetti do the talking.
I do love him, even though his mum was telling me he was her naughtiest child and I said he is the naughtiest one in this family too. He really is. Sometimes my mum wants to put him in time-out, especially when he does the “hype the children up just before bed time” thing that some men do. Gotta love him.
Be the you that is you.

If, like me, you’re a big fan of Ann’s (check out her work using the November Formal Affair and July Ruby Razzleberry kits), you’ll really enjoy seeing how she’s used the Be Loved February kit. And you won’t be disappointed:

The black scalloped paper on the “Together” layout isn’t included in the kit – Ann actually apologised (she’s so nice), but no apologies are necessary as it looks great, and is a wonderful addition to the page.
Instructions for Ann’s “Love You Always” layout will be posted up in the Paper Pesto Classroom.
Thanks Ann.

This month in addition to the considerable talents of Sharon and Ann, we’ve been lucky enough to have Deidre along as a guest designer using the “Be Loved” kit.

Thanks Deidre.

This is the first of our DT layouts using the February kit. We love the fun, young mood Sharon has managed to capture on this page. Sharon chose not to sew the punched card, but has highlighted and differentiated the hearts by using a different colour under each.
Sharon has crafted a lovely tribute to her relationship on this page. Note how she frames her photo with brackets on this page, photo corners in “Wild Thing” or overlaps them with embellishments to draw the viewers’ focus.

Sealed with a kiss – ahh, young love. The February kit is versatile enough to take you from a layout about what you may love about your children, to young love, to, how can we put this, the more mature love of Sharon and her husband (sorry Sharon – I’m an old married woman too). And they all look fantastic.

Thanks Sharon.

Hi all,I just wanted to show you that while this is a Valetines inspired kit, it is possible to create layouts with the contents that have nothing to do with love whatsoever!“The Aliens have landed” is a very simple layout with boxes and straight lines, not my usual style but I’ve discovered I really like scrapping this way. There’s no fiddling around with effective embellishment placement and trying to balance the page. A lot of people scrap this way and I can see why. It’s very refreshing. Thanks Steph for putting me on to it.

The next layout ‘Movie Time’ is about my girls favourite movies they like to watch over winter when it’s cold and we don’t get outside so much. It’s so nice to have a reason to snuggle up for some quiet time!

xx Kate.
