April layouts by Rachel and Beverley

Two of our wonderful customers sent in pictures earlier of a layout they had created each using our April kit. They are both so lovely I just had to share them with you. We LOVE getting this kind of happy mail because seeing what people do with the kits inspires us to keep producing them!

Here’s Rachels:

Here’s a layout of Aaron I have done using the April kit, the little calenders are so cool, I got July and August (very appropriate), but for this layout I wanted a December one, so made it myself in Word. Cream and beige Bazzil, chipboard arrow and photo turn and brad are from my stash the rest is from the kit. I covered the chipboard arrow and photo turn using paper from the kit.

And Beverley’s:

The new kit is looking amazing – just had a layout to share with you
using Aprils kit, scenic route journal stickers and kaisercraft gems.
I think the leaf and dragonfly are provocraft – been in my scrapping
stash for ages!!

Neat as a pin – Kate

This is my Dad all ready for his first communion. The majority of the photographs we have look like this, he was always so clean looking. The reality was much different and it must have driven my Grandmother mad. She was always telling me as a child how important cleanliness is. It must have been a constant effort with Dad because he was a typical boy really, skinned knees, bruises, grubby face and hands and a plaster holding together his glasses where they had snapped in the middle.

Just Us – Christi

Another lovely layout from DT member Christi Nelson. I love the stitched heart framing the photo and the spray of embellishments up the side.

Cow Love – Christi

Christi has wowed us again with this beautiful layout of her daughter’s love for a toy cow. Cute!

She’s created her own pattern paper by stamping the blossom stamp all over a strip of bazzill and layered it with the grid paper and Princess Bride papers for an easy but detailed look. That red flower (Christi’s own) adds the perfect colour element to lift the entire page.
