22 – Kate

Here’s another layout I did with the March Kit. Man I love those paints, great stress relief!Yes, this is me at 22. I hated this photo for a long time but it’s one of Dave’s favourites so I thought I better do something with it! It has grown on me since I scrapped it, I think I look rather cheeky.dsc03547-2.jpgxx Kate

More from Marni

In the layout above Marni has used a transparency in the centre of the frame.

In ‘proud to be me’, Marni has merged two of the urban lily papers to create this neat frame for her photo.

Instructions for ‘It must be love’ shown yesterday are now in the classroom so go check it out!

Thanks so much Marni,

March Kit layouts from Marni Telford

Marni has created some beautiful pages this month. My favourite has to be ‘It must be Love’, it just gets that song going in my head!

March Kit layouts from Ilka Adam

Ilka has designed some lovely pages for us this month, a class and some free down loadable labels to print and use on your pages! These will go up on the classroom blog shortly but first check out 2 of her gorgeous layouts below.

Here’s what Ilka had to say about the kit-

this kit was truly a joy to create with! It just offers countless possibilities and is amazingly diverse.
Loved the B&W papers and the paints to jazz it up any way I like, bright or subdued.
Very cool! And just perfect for the summer shots!
That KIM paper lace stuff is yummy and I really enjoyed the other paper mix too.
Fresh, fun & funky and the fabrics and embellies to go with it made it all so easy!
And OMG those vinyl alphas are to die for!!!
Even the tween kids in this house were impressed, just as well as they star in most of the LO’s ;p
Vaterstolz means -fathers pride and is the LO that comes as a class.

The majority of all kit orders that have been processed are leaving this morning with some going out yesterday also, so keep an eye on your doorsteps as they are on their way!
I will put up more of Ilka’s beautiful work tomorrow,
Thanks so much Ilka!

March Kit layouts from Kelly Slattery.

Kelly is one of three design team members working with the ‘Just add colour’kit this month. She has came up with some arty layouts of her gorgeous family, you can see she really likes the blue lace card from KI Memories and everything else-Here’s what Kell said about the kit –

I’m not sure if I have a favourite piece in this kit…hmmmm I think the AC vinyl alphas definitely rank in the top 5 things I love about this kit…the KI lace is up there too…love that you can use as little or as much as you like & when you think of it that way it sure can go a LOOOOONG way…Oh, have I mentioned the paints…LOVED playing with the paints – so they’re another player in the top 5 things I love about this kit & what are the paints without the “paintables”??? Those prima watercolour papers are pure deliciousness – they’re real watercolour paper – that nice thick stuff…can’t forget the little KI rubber charms – these are just so cute – the perfect touch for finishing one of my LOs, the fabric was super cute too & have I mentioned the AC plastic flowers & leaves…I think I’ve gone way over 5 favourite things – but you get the picture – there’s ALOT to love about this kit!!!

Love -Kate

I’ve always wanted to do something different with my wedding photo’s -something non-traditional. I just adore the bursts of colour in this kit and how they can really help highlight some of those magical moments in your life. For me the pop culture shimmer paper was just begging to be cut out and laid onto black bazzill. I found a chipboard word ‘love’ in my stash and covered this in the black polka dot fabric using modpodge. I’ve highlighted a few little bits with some Kindy glitz and added a John Keats quote about love. These photo’s are so special, we’d just tied the knot, I was ecstatic and my mother was throwing the dried rose petals she had spent months collecting and drying directly at my face! She has a very strange sense of humor sometimes…but it was a laugh nonetheless and helped diffuse the seriousness of the moments before. xx Kate.
